Bijou Baby shop in Southampton operates an appointment only service with appointments lasting up to 2 hours. During this time you’ll be able to get hands on with our entire product range and get help with everything from car seat fitting and compatibility to choosing the right baby carrier system and pushchair for your needs. Our demonstration service means you can try out products in the real world and checking the fit and safety credentials of car seats and much more.

Baby and child car seat fitting services

At Bijou Baby we offer car seat demonstration and fitting services for customers in Southampton and Ferring as well as at home appointments within 40 miles of SO30 2QT and 30 miles of BN12 5LD. During an appointment at our baby shop you’ll be able to view our full range of seats and get a full demonstration of the available options as well as getting to try them in your own car where you can check the fit and comfort for your child. Our demonstrations are free of charge at our Southampton showroom and are also available at our shop in Ferring and include seats from top brands including Axkid, BeSafe, Avionaut, Britax, and Joie

Our home child car seat demonstrations include safety and compatibility checks with the most popular car seats from Axkid, BeSafe, Avionaut, Joie, and Britax. There is a small charge for home appointments of £30 which is deducted from the cost of any of the seats that you try at home if you purchase within 1 week of your appointment.

Pram shop on the Isle of Wight

At Bijou Baby Isle of Wight we bring the best pushchairs and travel systems to you, no matter where you are on the island. Appointments last between 60 and 90 minutes and provide you with a chance to try out some of the latest prams and carrier systems from brands such as Joie, Ergobaby, Avionaut, Venicci and many others.
